Hello, friends. When I stated out in photography over 40 years ago I never dreamed of a world as it exists today. Nor could I have anticipated the advancements made in technology – especially photography. When I first started out I was captivated by the simple beauty of the things that surrounded me. Over time those “beautiful” things began to take on meaning. They were untold stories waiting to be told, needing a voice, needing a medium. That’s when I moved beyond taking photographs to telling stories. If we were to sit down, and time permitted, I could tell you a story behind every image you see on on this website. The metaphors, principles, and life journeys all come from deep and profound spiritual experiences.

Standing alone

Kathleen and I walk early in the morning. Since school started we've been walking past high schoolers waiting for their bus. In one of the small groups standing at a corner we noticed five girls. One standing by herself and a group of the other four.

Flawless

A favorite song of mine is Flawless by MercyMe. I'll share the lyrics below. I always enjoy seeing a newly emerged butterfly from its cocoon. In essence they are "flawless." Not a mark on them. Such was the case today as I saw this tiger swallowtail blow through our garden.
