Psalms/150/Bluebird Project

My dad had a love of the Psalms. He said, “A Psalm a day keeps the blues away.” But, hopefully not bluebirds! Each day he would read 5 Psalms and one chapter from Proverbs. That equated to reading the entire book of Psalms and Proverbs each month.

I also love the Psalms, although I don’t have the same reading plan as dad had. I also love bird photography as you may have witnessed if you’ve perused my website. And, in particular, bluebirds have always been a favorite. I have hundreds of bluebird portraits I’ve taken in the last few years. So, I thought why not combine the two. On this page I have added one verse from each of the 150 Psalms to one of my bluebird portraits. I hope you will take pause and enjoy the image along with the verse, and perhaps go on to read the entire Psalm. Please feel free to download, read, pray, share, and add your comments on any of the images.

100 Years of Hurricane Data

Standing alone
