All colors go together!
From time to time my wife will ask me, “Does this blouse go with these pants?” Or some other clothing combination. My pat answer is, “all colors go together.” By now you’re probably thinking I’m a little off my rocker. (I wish I had one!) But what happens is, we often create a paradigm based on limited or personal biases. Case in point – for decades you weren’t supposed to wear brown shoes with a blue suit. Who says? Well that paradigm got destroyed a few years back. And if we take a few clues from nature, I think you can see what I mean by the title of this post. Have you ever seen a sunset light up the sky with a dozen pastel colors? Or, how about something as obvious as the rainbow. (Think Roy G. Biv) Perhaps you’ve seen a field of wildflowers set against a blue sky and green grass. And, what about the image below of the indigo bunting set against the grassland plants? How many colors do you see? I don’t know about you, but I had to take my shoes off and count my toes, too. Yep, all colors DO go together.)
