A visit to Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum
I recently made a visit to the Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum. What a treasure this is for St. Louis. I won’t go into the details of what’s all there, you can check out their website for yourself, but it’s a wonderful place. I knew it’s been there for a long time, I just didn’t know they had a world class arboretum, too. While there I met a young horticulturist named Nathan. He share a lot about what’s there and even gave me a few bulbs and seeds for my garden. (I’m going to gift him a print in return!)
Around one of the enclosed circular water features is an area filled with shite and red zinnias and PURE white cosmos. I did get a few snaps of some monarchs, but it was the cosmos that fascinated me. How could something so simple be so incredibly beautiful! Only a designer can do that. And, I’m glad He did.
Prints are available on various substrates and sizes.
