A few minutes in time
What difference does a few minutes make? It seems like the first time in forever… that is shooting a landscape versus birds and butterflies in my backyard. The air was crisp and cool yesterday as I made my way out before sunrise. I drove to Busch Wildlife Area with the off chance of glassing some sort of sunrise landscape. Lake #1 is a go to spot as it offers a decent early morning view. And, foggy mornings are quite the norm this time of year.
The images, although the view is slightly altered, were taken about 10 minutes apart. I also have some snaps prior to and after these, however the prior images were almost monochromatic blue, obviously, and the post sunrise images had blown out highlights due to the sun. So, here the sweet spot was just about 2-15 minutes before sun up. I bracketed two exposures for each image and kept the slightly under-exposed images.
