This waterfall is located at Dogwood Canyon, which is a paid attraction owned by BassPro Shops, south of Branson, MO. This was our first time back in over 10 years. It’s a lovely nature area with thousands of acres to roam on foot, bike, or tram ride. Next time it the tram for us! This 150 foot tall waterfall sits behind the restaurant and not far from the front of the entrance. There are other smaller falls on the paved path as you make your way deeper into the area.
Not knowing the waterfall was there I wasn’t quite prepared to shoot it especially at late morning. I had to shoot at iso 50 and f25 to slow down the shutter to around 1/3-1/5 of a second to get a tough of silk in the water. Normally in conditions like this I would use a 10 stop neutral density filter and shoot around f11. Regardless, I think it turned out well for an impromptu shot.

Standing alone

Kathleen and I walk early in the morning. Since school started we've been walking past high schoolers waiting for their bus. In one of the small groups standing at a corner we noticed five girls. One standing by herself and a group of the other four.

Flawless
