Serendipity
Serendipity, or the art of making happy chance discoveries, was coined by Horace Warpole in the 1700s. It’s a word I’ve come to admire especially this happens. Last Saturday I went to my local wildlife refuge area to try and get some snaps. Fog was still rolling across the water when the sun began to rise. I was glassing egrets and waterfowl on the other side when I noticed two does saunter out of the woods and head for the water. Even though I was a long way away, I had my 150-600mm on they camera and made a few snaps before they moved back into the confines of the woods. Now that’s serendipity! Hope you enjoy.
