Can we see the light?
Light – without it photography doesn’t exist! But, it’s not the light we record on film or digital sensors – we only see what is illumined by the light.
Yesterday I took some wild grape vine and fashioned it into a perch and set it in my backyard. I’m always looking for new things to attract perching birds. This seemed to do the trick. This handsome male bluebird took pause while I captured him in the late afternoon sun. The warm glow of the sun adds to the richness of the colors. (The framing of vine works well, too.)
