“Surrounded by your glory…
… what will my heart feel.”
This morning was cold! But, I wanted to get out and try out my new center leveling tripod. This style of tripod makes pano photography a little easier to level your camera and set up more quickly than traditional tripods.
I headed down to Busch Wildlife Area way before sun up where I knew there would be “smoke on the water” due to the temps. I was out more for practice and experimentation, so I took a few snaps. Then while driving past this a pond I noticed a shaft of light illuminating a small sycamore tree among the rising and changing mist. I quickly hopped out and grabbed my gear. I had a 150-600mm lens on my camera and decided to leave it set at 150mm.
Watching the fog rise up off the water and saturate the sycamore with its glowing presence was truly magical. It’s almost as if I could hear God say, “I’m here, even among the sycamores.”
Darkness as black as night covers all the nations of the earth, but the glory of the Lord rises and appears over you. Isaiah 60:2
