Hey, friends. Can you help a brother out?
Shortly I’ll be submitting some photos for possible inclusion in the 2023 Courage Kenny Holiday Card Collection. CK is a rehab institute that helps disabled people. (Check out their cards here https://www.couragecards.org/) Each year CK selects 30 pieces of artwork from disabled artists to create cards for the upcoming year. In the past I’ve had 3 artworks selected for Thanksgiving and Christmas cards.

This year I’ll be submitting bird portraits in the theme “Winter Wildlife.” Below are some photos I may submit. Would you consider placing a comment for a few of your favorites that you think may work on a holiday card design? Simply click on the image. Then click on this icon in the bottom right hand corner to add your comment. (You may get an ERROR message when commenting, but your comments ARE coming through. Not sure why errors are happening???)

It doesn’t have to be a long comment. You can simply write “fave” or something like that. This will give me some needed feedback before I submit.

Standing alone

Kathleen and I walk early in the morning. Since school started we've been walking past high schoolers waiting for their bus. In one of the small groups standing at a corner we noticed five girls. One standing by herself and a group of the other four.

Flawless

A favorite song of mine is Flawless by MercyMe. I'll share the lyrics below. I always enjoy seeing a newly emerged butterfly from its cocoon. In essence they are "flawless." Not a mark on them. Such was the case today as I saw this tiger swallowtail blow through our garden.
