May 2022 Birds
Well, here comes another month of bird images. Whatever I glass during May I’ll post here. Let the snapping begin! Also, you may want to check out my other months of bird snaps. The links are on the bottom of my home page.
First up is a lifer for me. A Tennessee warbler snapped in my back yard! Other lifers are the American redstart, Nashville warbler, red-eyed vireo, black and white warbler, blue grosbeak, chestnut sided warbler, Kentucky warbler, wood thrush, and several others. Also seen are the great crested flycatcher, gray catbird, and white-eyed vireo, along with other birds I’ve glassed previously.
At the beginning of the month I didn’t have a goal of observing a certain number of birds. However as the month went on I was approaching 100 different species. And, on the 30th I saw my 110 species for the month.
