Incongruous
Incongruous - what a word! You can read the definition in the image below. Here’s my take on it - it was neither correct, proper, or logical that Jesus was executed. Nor, was it correct, proper, or logical according to human understanding that he would offer himself up on our behalf.
Sounds incongruous to me!
